A mountaineer is only as good as his provisions and a researcher only as good as her equipment. With our new Eon backpack, the supplies and tools of our little big expedition leaders are guaranteed to stay dry – come what may. But the Eon is not only completely waterproof: it is also practically indestructible: We use textile fibers that are up to 15 times stronger than steel. This makes it a loyal companion, whether for day trips, days of hiking from mountain hut to hut, or the urban jungle. The roll top is very easy to open and the inner lining can be pulled out easily for cleaning or to use as a sit pad in the forest. The completely reflective drawcords provide visibility in the twilight and at the same time help to compress the rucksack when the provisions have been polished off. And should your sweater get wet, it can be easily strapped on and transported outside the backpack. The water bottle also fits comfortably in the side pocket and can be fixed with an additional elastic band – so it is always at hand yet safely stowed away. Because the Eon is completely waterproof, all collected treasures and clothes can survive several hours of hiking in the rain or river crossings, which end up much as the parents had envisioned: a soggy (but happy) mess.

Bottle holder

The bottle holder is comfortably placed in the side pocket and the bottle can be fixed with an additional elastic band – so it is always at hand yet safely stowed away.
Compressible

Our jackets are easily compressible thanks to PrimaLoft® and can be easily stowed in the backpack, so the hike can continue after lunch.
PFC-free, durable, water-repellent DWR coat

Many water-resistant coatings on outdoor clothing, especially fluorocarbon (PFC), are problematic because of their harmful effects on the environment. We love nature and are aware of our responsibility to it, which is why we do not use such coatings on our products.
Fully taped seams

This product features fully taped seams, providing optimal protection from water, because the seams are usually the first point where water penetrates the inner material. So kids stay dry, whether it rains or snows or there’s just a little accident with a juice box.
Integrated sitting mat

The roll top is very easy to open and the inner lining can be pulled out easily for cleaning or to use as a sit pad in the forest.
Lightweight

Our jackets are as light as a feather only they don't contain feathers. The insulation material PrimaLoft® is light as a feather, water repellent and keeps kids warm. And because the material is so amazingly soft, it guarantees an all-around snuggly feeling.

Waterproof to 10,000mm water gage

These membranes withstand water pressure equivalent to a depth of 10 meters and don’t let any water penetrate – even after hours in the rain. You won’t find such high technical standards in children’s clothing in every brand. But we consider it important that kids don’t get wet when horsing around, digging and running, and can play outside longer. We (and our kids) regularly put it to the test on rainy days.
